Day 1: Mwanza /Serengeti

Drive on a tarmac road from Mwanza to Ndabaka gate. Explore the Western corridor zone, observing masses of residents in their natural Habitats.

Get chance to pass at Grumeti River and Retima Hippo pool where Hippos and giant Nile crocodiles can be found in abundance.

Further to Seronera area where these animals can be seen as you search for them, Leopard, Prides of Lion, Packs of Spotted Hyenas, the fleetest Cheetahs, and many plain animals like Buffaloes, Topi, Hartebeest, Wildebeest, Waterbucks, Elands, zebras, Gazelles, warthogs, just to name a few, and numerous number of Birds, more than 100 species can be observed in a day. Evening continue to Basic Campsite for dinner and a good night

Day 2 Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

Start this day with a sunrise game drive at 6:00 a.m. Afterwards, drive back to the campsite for breakfast, there after game drive and then later leave the Serengeti for Ngorongoro via the southern Serengeti short grass plains, commonly known as the endless plains. It’s here where the name Serengeti was derived, a Maasai word meaning “The Endless Plains” .

Proceed to the Masai Village for Cultural experience later descend for Dinner and overnight at the Campsite.

Afterwards, drive to the Basic Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will proceed to Ngorongoro crater for a game drive, which is the 8th natural wonder of the world and the unique, world famous caldera with the most abundant wildlife. We will descend into the Ngorongoro crater floor.

From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, descending down the crater, you will enjoy amazing panoramic view and if you are lucky, you will see the Big five.

The caldera is exhibiting more than 120 species of mammals. We will also visit saline lakes such as lake Magadi, which is a magnet for flamingos and other water birds.

We will see pools full of hippos, the endangered East Africa’s last black rhinos including birds such as secretary bird, white stork arriving from Europe during the wet season, kori bustards, crowned cranes and ostriches. It is for sure a landscape of sheer beauty. Another big draw card to this picturesque park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.

After the thrills and excitement of the day, you will have a picnic lunch in the park.Thereafter, we will drive back to Basic Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro - Serengeti

After Breakfast, Drive to Serengeti National Park We head towards the Serengeti National, Drives over the big Serengeti Park, the Rocks out crop commonly known as Kopjes, pronounced as copy which is Afrikaans language from South Africa meaning “The Spear Head”, harbors allot of animals.

These Rocks are breeding sites for Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Wild Dog. As you visit you’ll see Lions relaxing on top of the rocks, some which were given the name Simba Kopjes, enjoying the sunsets of Serengeti also the best chance to spot nocturnal animals.

Afterwards, drive back to the Basic Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 - Serengeti National Park / Mwanza

The day may start with an early morning sunrise game drive (that is before breakfast), or you can take breakfast and then start the day game viewing. We are always flexible on that so that our clients can get what they expected on a safari. After lunch, prepare the journey back to Mwanza while enjoying en route game drives. Arrive in Mwanza in the evening.
