Serengeti National Park

Recognised in 1952, Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, famous for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of wide plains in Africa. It is the only land in the whole world for the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth- The Great Wildebeest Migration.

The park covers 5,700 square miles (14,763 square km) of some of the best grassland range in Africa, as well as extensive acacia woodland savanna. The most resident population includes lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, hyenas, leopards, rhinoceroses, hippopotamuses, and various species of birds.
