Drive on a tarmac road from Mwanza to Ndabaka gate. Explore the western corridor zone, observing masses of residents in their natural Habitats. Get a chance to pass at Grumeti River and Retima hippo pool where hippos and giant Nile crocodiles can be found in abundance. Travel further to Seronera area where animals can be seen in abundance including leopard, prides of lion, packs of spotted hyenas, cheetahs, buffaloes, topi, hartebeest, wildebeest, waterbucks, elands, zebras, gazelles, warthogs, and numerous species of birds. More than 100 species can be observed in a day. Continue to the lodge, or camp, for dinner and a good night.
Day 2

Full day in Serengeti

You have full day in the Serengeti ecosystem; you may start the day with early morning game drive at 6:00 a.m. and enjoy breakfast afterwards. You will also have a chance to embark on a balloon safari over the plains of Serengeti (this has to be early in the morning at 5:30 a.m.). Enjoy a bush breakfast (optional). Next, enjoy further game drives over the Serengeti Park, observing rock outcrops commonly known as Kopjes (pronounced as “copy,” which is Afrikaans language from South Africa meaning “The Spear Head”). These rocks are breeding sites for cheetah, lion, leopard and wild dog. You’ll see lions relaxing on top of the rocks, some which were given the name Simba Kopjes. Next, drive back to the lodge or campsite for lunch and take some rest until dusk, then go for sun set game drive, enjoying the sun sets of Serengeti also the best chance to spot nocturnal animals. Afterwards, drive back to the lodge/ camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3

Serengeti/Ngorongoro

Start this day with a sunrise game drive at 6:00 a.m. Afterwards, drive back to the lodge or camp for breakfast and then leave the Serengeti for Ngorongoro via the southern Serengeti short grass plains, commonly known as the endless plains. It’s here where the name Serengeti was derived, a Maasai word meaning “The Endless Plains.” On the way to Ngorongoro Crater, you may opt to visit the Oldupai Gorge, “The Cradle of Mankind,” for a cultural experience. Proceed to the crater and descend into this bowl-like intact caldera that is 610 meters deep. Many animals have made their home here including the endangered black rhino, many carnivores, and plain animals. Evening ascend and drive to your accommodation for rest and a night stop.
Day 4

Ngorongoro/Mwanza or Arusha

Take breakfast at the lodge/camp. If you are driving back to Mwanza, start the journey back to Mwanza, arriving in the late evening. If you are going to Arusha, continue with the journey to Arusha through Ngorongoro highland forest, an ever green forest year-round. The forest is very important for wildlife and Maasai cattle as it is used as a water catchment of the area. Down to Karatu Town, the small tourist town, you may stop and buy some curios along the way to Arusha. Proceed to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. BOOK NOW
